LSEG - Workspace as known as / Datastream / Refinitiv Eikon / The world’s most comprehensive financial time series database is loaded with 65 years of information, across all major asset classes is now part of Eikon. It consists of two parts – the Datastream Charting APP (DSCHART) and the Datastream Excel Add-In (Datastream for Office, DFO).
⚠ The last day this desktop will be available is September 30, 2026.Beginning in October, this service will also be accessible through Wharton (WRDS). Please note that there will be changes to the available datasets.

Unique content includes I/B/E/S Estimates aggregates, Worldscope Fundamentals Point in Time data, and Reuters Polls.     WebApp for working from home as our student or staff:

    1. book a time-slot.
    2. connect to your service, once your time slot has started. 
      Login as Researcher
      use u:cloud to save your work. 
      Please clear up the desktop again; use incognito browser tab.
    • If MS-Excel is used (DFO), but the icons of the menu Refinitiv Eikon Datastream are greyed out, please click 🔑 under the Refinitiv Eikonmenu to connect to Datastream, thus changing the icon to 👤. 
       
    • In case your keyboard does not get translated properly into non-US settings, please use the On Screen Keyboard (OSK):
      Go to ⊞Start, then select ⚙Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard, and turn on the toggle under Use the On-Screen Keyboard. A keyboard that can be used to move around the screen and enter text will appear on the screen. The keyboard will remain on the screen until you close it.

    per seat. Access to the streaming terminal is limited to one user at a time. That's why a time slot has to be booked. There is full coverage of IBES and Worldscope data as part of our subscription.
